The story behind MĀBELLA.

It started over coffee.

I'd spent years in real estate and then deep in marketing and events — working alongside builders, interior designers, and creative entrepreneurs. Somewhere along the way, a handful of them started asking to sit down with me, just to pick my brain. And then one of them asked what I charged.

I needed a name fast enough to get a proposal out. So I combined pieces of my two daughters' middle names — Mabel and Abrielle — and MĀBELLA was born.

But the thing I kept noticing in all those conversations: these incredibly talented people were doing beautiful work and had absolutely no idea how to talk about it. No clear direction. No content strategy. No path forward that actually made sense for their life.

So I created a space for exactly that. Clarity.

I kept the name because I wanted my daughters to know that anything is possible if you just try. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to start — and figure it out as you go. That's exactly what I did. And it's exactly what I help my clients do too.

MĀBELLA exists for the interior designer who has the talent, the clients, and the eye — but needs someone to help her figure out the rest. Not to do it for you. To sit with you, ask the right questions, and help you see what you can't see from where you're standing.

Then we figure out the next right move. Together.

Whether you want to work together 1:1 or move at your own pace — there's something here for you.

A family of four, including two young girls, a woman, and a man, is standing outside in snowy weather with snow-covered trees in the background. They are dressed warmly, and the young girl is holding a leash attached to a small white dog.

hello, new friend

I’m Leah. I went full-time into real estate at 23 as a single mom — which is either brave or insane, depending on the day. Probably both.

What followed was years of figuring it out, messing up, growing, and eventually finding my way into the world of marketing and strategy for the creative industry. I started MĀBELLA because I kept seeing incredibly talented people doing beautiful work with no clear path forward. I knew I could help. So I did.

I'm a Plymouth, Minnesota girl — you'll find me at the lake in the summer, at a concert whenever I can get there, or on my couch with a really good cup of coffee pretending I'm an introvert. I have two daughters — one who's basically an adult and one who still thinks I'm cool — a husband, and a dog who rounds out the chaos nicely.

what i know to be true

  • clarity is a gift you can give yourself

  • the right move beats the perfect move every time

  • your business should fit your life, not the other way around

  • being real is always more interesting than being perfect

  • a good cup of coffee solves about 40% of problems

  • the lake fixes the other 60%

  • strategy isn't sexy but it changes everything

I'm really glad you're here.

Leah
